What’s Included
A travel health consult includes travel advice, prescriptions for required medication and vaccines, your first injection administration, list of recommended travel products, and your comprehensive Travel Health Guide tailored to your itinerary.
Our pharmacists, certified in travel health, will review your routine vaccinations to make sure you are up to date and will discuss travel-specific vaccines required or recommended for your chosen destinations.

Travel Timing
Travel consultations ideally occur 6–8 weeks before your departure to allow time for some vaccinations and medications to take effect.
Appointment Duration
Consultations are one-hour appointments.
Consult Fees
Consultation fees range from $50–$70 per person and are dependent on the countries you are travelling to. For resort vacations, the fee is $35 per person. This fee does not include the cost of vaccinations and medications. Family and group discounts are available, and we are pleased to offer a 25% discount for returning travel consult customers.
Please note that travel consultation and vaccines are not covered by Alberta Health. We can directly bill vaccinations and prescriptions to many drug benefit plans, and coverage varies with each individual plan.
